In Memorium

May 18, 2009—It is with great sadness that I must alert the soccer world of the passing of one of the greatest champions of our sport and finest people I have been blessed to know. Charlotte Moran, after heroically fighting a battle with pancreatic cancer over the last 2 years, passed last night in the arms of her loving family and friends.

The Family asks that in lieu of Flowers please make a donation to the following:

TAYLOR SEITZINGER

On March 19, 2009, Taylor Nicole Seitzinger, succumbed to injuries suffered in a car accident a week earlier. She was just 18 years old and a senior at Hamburg Area High School in Hamburg, PA. The fact that Taylor truly was a special person became evident by how her passing greatly affected people all over the area.

Taylor was a standout athlete at Hamburg, playing soccer, basketball, and cross country. She was a straight-A student, Homecoming Queen, student council vice-president, and was looking forward to attending DeSales University in the fall where was she was to study to become a physician’s assistant and also play soccer. Taylor was also an organ donor and even in her untimely passing, she was able to help someone. Her gift helped to give new hope and life to three different individuals who otherwise would possibly still be waiting.

The Taylor N. Seitzinger Memorial Fund was established shortly after her passing to accept donations, which would ultimately be used to provide scholarships to Hamburg Area High School seniors in Taylor’s memory
